A four-paper panel on the creation and adaptation of religious spaces in modern/contemporary Japan is searching for a knowledgeable discussant/respondent. The panelists are specialists in Buddhist, Shinto, and Christian spaces and their analyses include both the built and natural environment. Due to AAS regulations, only a scholar not already committed to another panel would be eligible to fill this spot. If you are interested or have any suggestions, please contact me. We hope to hear from you soon.
