Colleagues and I are working on a book proposal on the current CIA penetration of US campuses through such programs as Intelligence Community Centers of Academic Excellence, Intelligence Analysis Campuses, Officers in Residence, etc. as a means to recruit agents and influence curricula.
We envision ten chapters of approximately 10,000 words each covering topics like: the CIA and torture, CIA and summer h.s. spy camp, CIA and the drug trade, CIA influence of academic research, CIA infiltration of study abroad programs, etc.
Our timeline is recruiting contributors by August 5, first drafts by November 1, and final drafts by January 1.
If you would like to participate please contact me directly: Phil Zwerling at pzwerling@rgv.rr.com
I'd appreciate any assistance.
