Call for Papers for an academic conference (13-16 April 2011) hosted and sponsored by Georgia College & State University, Milledgeville. We invite papers on O'Connor's significance today, new readings of O'Connor's works, comparisons of O'Connor to other modern/contemporary writers, etc. Send abstracts of approx. 500 words to Marshall Bruce Gentry at bruce.gentry@gcsu.edu by 1 Nov. 2010. Responses will be emailed in Dec. 2010. Keynote lectures by Gary Ciuba, Sarah Gordon, W. A. Sessions, Carol Shloss; readings by Marianne Boruch, Kathryn Stripling Byer, E. L. Doctorow, Tom Franklin.
