Environmental Diplomacy at a Crossroads: A view from the United Arab Emirates. Edited by Federico Velez and Drew Gardner
Deadline: 2010-11-15
Zayed University Press invites scholars to submit papers for an interdisciplinary edited book focusing on environmental diplomacy in the Gulf. Papers that deal with the current diplomatic discussion on how to approach environmental challenges at Copenhagen and beyond would make part of the first part of this collection. The second part will focus on an analysis of the status of the environment in the region in general and the U.A.E. in particular, including topics related to biodiversity, water resources, marine and coastal protection, endangered species, environmental sustainability, and innovative approaches to the environment.
Please submit your paper (8,000 to 10,000 words) electronically in MS Word format, font size 12 to Federico.Velez@zu.ac.ae and Drew.Gadner@zu.ac.ae by November 15, 2010. Papers should be double-spaced in 12-point font.
