Call for Papers
Submit appropriate papers not under consideration elsewhere for publication in the ORCE-UMA: African Journal of Philosophy. The Journal publishes research papers, review essays, articles, replies and rejoinders to previous papers. All research papers, articles, and review essays, unsolicited or invited, may be subject to editorial and/or peer review prior to acceptance. Therefore, they should not contain indications of your identity in the text. The Journal is published bi-annually by the African Philosophers Forum (APF).
Articles are welcome all year round.
All articles must conform to our style guidelines, described below as
follows:
1. Article length: 4000 words (@ 20 double-spaced pages including notes and references in a 12-point font) in Times Roman.
2 Title, subheads: Please suggest a title for your paper or review essay and brief, italicized (not capitalized) subheads, every four or five pages. Only very long articles should use numbered subheadings; please use Roman numerals for such enumeration.
3 Abstract: A 200-word-maximum double-spaced abstract should appear at the beginning of all articles, including review essays. All submissions must include abstracts.
4. Citations should follow the “author-date" or "social-science" system described in the American Political Science Assn. Style Manual,(APA); citation should be by means of in-text parenthetical references e.g. (Oluwole, 1990, 27).

The Journal of Existential Philosophy (AJEP) is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal uniquely committed to the advancement of scholarship in all areas of philosophical inquiry. It publishes articles from any philosophical orientation that makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the human person. The journal provides an outlet for essential works and commentaries that critically evaluate the ontology of man. AJOP is particularly interested in helping new and young authors who have a flair for critical discourse.
