Workshops in Political Theory 2010
Seventh Annual Conference
Manchester Metropolitan University
September 1st – 3rd 2010
We are looking for submissions of 200-300 word abstracts for the Feminist Theory Workshop. We welcome papers exploring feminist theory, gender studies and political theory, delivered by delegates from any discipline, with the aim of cultivating a rich dialogue on feminist political issues in both theory and practice.
Deadline for submission of abstracts:
Monday 12th July 2010
Please direct queries and submit abstracts to Becca Lawrence (Durham University) at: 0becca.lawrence0@googlemail.com. Provide your name, institution (if applicable), abstract, and the title of your paper.
Additional Information:
Following the Sixth Annual Conference of Workshops in Political Theory, held in Manchester, September 2009, at which a hundred and fifty papers were delivered by participants from over twenty countries, we are pleased to release a call for papers for this year’s Conference. The workshops reflect the wide diversity of interests and idioms within the discipline and give delegates plenty of time to discuss their papers in a relaxed setting, alongside the freedom to attend other panels at will.
Please visit the conference website (www.hlss.mmu.ac.uk/politicaltheory) for information regarding papers, conference details, and booking forms.
