Picturesque Colorado and its people have played roles in motion picture films and still photographs for more than a century. Proposals ae being accepted for the 8th annual Pikes Peak Regional History Sumposium, Film & Photography on the Front Range, to be held on June 11, 2011. Topics may include, filmmkers, photographers, the art of filmmaking and photography, historic processes, representation of the Front Range and its people in visual media, and related themes relevant to film and photography on the Front Range, from the 19th through the 21st centuries.
