During the 100th anniversary of the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren (Belgium) and the 50th anniversary of the independence of the DRC, this exhibition tells how Congolese anticipated, experienced and remember independence. In addition to interviews that evoke the era, music and various objects illustrate the evolution of Congolese public opinion from the colonial era to the present day.
