This panel investigates the ideological work being done by public feminist intellectuals in the age of YouTube and Facebook. How have new social media configurations altered the intellectual practice of feminist advocacy? Topics and/or critical paradigms can include, but are certainly not limited to: feminism, memoir, politics, class, gender, critical race/reception/queer theory, literature, and poetry.
