Call for Papers
Glopent Americas is an academic consortium housed at the University of Pennsylvania, seeking to gather academics across the disciplines(reklligion, sociology, anthropology, gener, ethnography, ect>) who are actively engaged in the study of Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Renewal Movements around the world, with a special
emphasis on the Americas (Canada, North American and Latin America). Our first meeting will be in conjunction with the American Academy of Religion Meeting in
Atlanta Ga. on October 29, 2010. We are soliciting papers for our first
meeting/consultation. Proposals of 1000 words or less are being accepted for
presentation at this time. Proposals will be vetted by a panel of scholars currently
active in the field, and will be considered for publication in our forthcoming online journal.
