In this seminar Jan Gross, renowned historian of modern Europe, Poland, and the Holocaust, will discuss Polish-Jewish relations during the Second World War. In particular, he will assess the controversial issue of the role of the Polish population under German occupation in the murder of the Jews in Poland, touching upon the findings of his controversial 2001 study "Neighbors", and his more recent research.
