The Australian National University’s (ANU) College of Asia and the Pacific recently launched a 6-part vodcast and podcast series titled “Thailand in Crisis”. The most recent episode deals with the role of military and police forces on the streets of Bangkok and includes interviews with Professor Des Ball and Dr Marcus Mietzner. The series seeks to contextualise the recent strife in Bangkok with insights from ANU specialists about Thai politics and society.
New videos will be released each Friday over the coming weeks.
Further information on the series is available from the ANU’s Youtube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/ANUchannel) and from New Mandala (http://asiapacific.anu.edu.au/newmandala/).
