Join NMHS on Wednesday, 16 June for an evening viewing of "Zeb Schooner Life," the award-winning documentary about Martha's Vineyard's larger-than-life sailing captain, Zeb Tilton, who kept alive a way of life, moving freight under sail, long after others had consigned it to the dustbin of history. With his sharp wit, canny intelligence, and tough-as-nails ability to meet any challenge with courage and derring-do, Zeb Tilton was an American folk hero and his legacy will endure, so long as there are those who love the sea.
The film will be followed with remarks by Peter Stanford, NMHS President Emeritus and longtime friend of Polly Burroughs, and a question and answer session.
