We invite you to submit proposals for papers on the theme of ‘Neo-liberal reforms, local elites, and accountability in public service provision in the MENA region’. We are directing a workshop on this theme at the Twelfth Mediterranean Research Meeting which will take place near Florence (Italy ) on 6-9 April 2011 .

The deadline for paper proposals is 15 July 2010, and the full final paper is due by 15 February 2011.
Paper proposals (of 500-1000 words) and CVs (max. 5 pages) must be submitted via the on-line submission form at: http://www.rscas.org/application2/?p=mrm2011
Papers and presentations should be either in English or in French. However, all paper proposals should be in English only. Selected participants will receive a travel allowance based on country of residence and employment.
