Call for operations related to the theme of contemporary transformations of bodies.
A biopolitical angle of approach will be privileged : how can images of the body be able to transform from within the bodies themselves ?
Recent neuronal studies (see Marc Jeannereau, The proactive brain) emphasize the brain's ability to respond plastically in the formation of the morphology and anatomy of the muscular body. Is it science fiction? Voluntarism, neo-new age or a mystic drift in the urgent effort to renew our understanding of the complexity of the body as a phenomenon ?
On the other hand, edited images (movies, videos, photomontages, Internet) also function as technologies of power on our imaginations : by intervening in the images we consistently produce, building our imagination and thus, acting plastically on our way to represent ourselves and our lives in the social and public space.
The editings of imagination will affect the body by imprinting here a figural appearance. Figural footprints nestling in the background of gesture and action : the same that push the body to act and to build its specificity and singularity or to conform to a morphological model. In the same movement, the body, by his plastic formation, acts : by shaping its image, or by plastic, that is to say, by breaking the norms.
Between pouvoir and power, between a becoming and the conformation to models, between biopolitics and biopower :
Key concepts here are those of performance, efficiency, agency and empowerment
by and in the images.
Operations of body or text dissections can be of any size and any type: photomontage, video, visual proposals, texts:
We welcome collective performative operations on the appearance of the blog "Politics of Imagination" following the practices of deconstructionism ( hackerism, Situationism, philosophical deconstruction) : disrupting organic bodies and reorganizing their common passions.

"Politiques de l'Imagination" - transformations contemporaines des corps - is part of Culture Visuelle platform : the first social media of teaching and research in France, and the first french Visual Culture net, proposed by the Laboratory of contemporary visual history (Lhivic / EHESS). Leaning on a net blogs researchers, teachers and students who work and interact in the wide, the platform provides a collaborative publication, under the control of an editorial board. It has an open social network for readers and experiments with various search tools, and multimedia publishing.

lance sa première Média-action : « transformations contemporaines des corps ».
Appel à opérations libres sur le thème des transformations contemporaines des corps.
L’optique biopolitique sera privilégiée sur les autres : il est question de voir comment les images des corps sont à même de transformer, de l’intérieur, les corps réels mêmes. De récentes études neuronales (Cf. Marc Jeannereau, Le cerveau volontariste) insistent sur cette capacité du cerveau d’intervenir plastiquement dans la constitution de la morphologie et de l’anatomie musculaire du corps. S’agit-il de science-fiction ? De volontarisme, de néo-new age ou d’une dérive mystique dans la tentative urgente de renouveler notre compréhension de la complexité du phénomène corps ?
D’autre part, les images montées (films, vidéos, photomontages, palimpsestes internet) fonctionnent aussi comme des technologies de pouvoir sur notre imaginaire : en intervenant sur les images que nous produisons constamment, qui construisent notre imaginaire et, par là, intervenant plastiquement sur notre façon de nous représenter dans l’espace social et dans l’espace public.
Ces montages de l’imagination vont affecter les corps en y laissant une empreinte figurale. L’empreinte figurale qui se love dans l’arrière-plan du geste et de l’action est celle-là même qui va pousser le corps à agir et à se construire de façon spécifique et singulière. Dans ce même mouvement, le corps, par son action plastique, agira le réel : en le modelant à son image ou en le plastiquant, c’est-à-dire, en en faisant éclater des normes.
Entre pouvoir et puissance, entre formation en devenir et conformation à des modèles du corps, entre biopolitique et biopouvoir.
Notions-clé en sont ici celles de performance, d’efficacité, d’agency et d’empowerment
par et dans les images.
Les opérations peuvent être de tout format et de tout type : photomontage, vidéo, propositions plastiques, textes :
Sont bienvenues des opérations performatives collectives sur l’architecture et le contenu du blog “Politiques de l’imagination” sur le modèle des pratiques hacker, de la déconstruction situationniste et philosophique : il s’agit de textes à défaire et de corps à défaire, de textes nouveaux à construire pour imaginer des corps nouveaux. Désorganiser les corps et les réorganiser en réorganisant leurs passions communes.

« Politiques de l'Imagination » fait partie de la plateforme Culture Visuelle : premier média social d’enseignement et de recherche de France, proposé par le Laboratoire d’histoire visuelle contemporaine (Lhivic/EHESS). Appuyée sur un réseau de blogs de chercheurs, d’enseignants et d’étudiants qui travaillent et dialoguent à ciel ouvert, la plate-forme propose une publication collaborative, placée sous le pilotage d’un comité d’édition.
