Please join us for the 2011 Joint National PCA/ACA and Southwest/Texas Regional Conference in San Antonio, Texas! We are excitedly looking forward to stimulating presentations about the rich diversity of human sexuality and gender performance(s). This year’s conference will be looking towards visual media as a source of intellectual inquiry. Alternative, Queer and LGBT Television, Film, Music and Media will be of particular interest for our Area this year! Submissions pertaining to any aspect of gender studies, LGBT studies, and/or sexuality studies are desired from scholars, educators, and students at all levels. We also encourage graduate student participation at this year’s Joint Conference as a unique opportunity to see both National and Regional Conference attendees! Inquiries regarding this area and/or abstracts of 250 words may be sent via email beginning immediately. Deadline for submissions is December 15th, 2010. Please include a current CV and a working bibliography with your abstract.
