The Twentieth Annual Meeting of the Texas Medieval Association, sponsored by SMU and other area medievalists and institutions, takes place in Dallas at Southern Methodist University Friday, September 24, through Sunday, September 26, 2010. Keynote speakers are Seth Lerer and Bruce Brasington. The general theme is "Majesty, Memory, and Mourning in the Middle Ages." The conference will be held in conjunction with the Dallas Museum of Art's exhibition of the 15th-century mourners from the Dijon tomb of John the Fearless.
