Vol. 1 Nº 3: New issue. New look. New features.
It is with great pleasure and satisfaction that we present the new issue of Eä - Journal of Medical Humanities & Social Studies of Science and Technology.
What's new? Vol. 1 Nº 3 is presented with a set of new features:
New look. We have changed our look in order to improve our reader’s experience.
New spaces in social networks. Last March Eä has landed on Twitter. The user @eajournal1 is daily updated with news, events, online resources, 2.0 trends, and recent discoveries on Medical Humanities and Studies of Science and Technology, among others.
New apps. Our website grows with the 2.0 wave. Now users can upload events, links and publications, and also comment the news posted in our main page. Moreover, this issue we have opened Eä’s forum.
Editorial quality. To ensure the best editorial standards Eä has adhered to several international standards for science and biomedical journals.
Eä - Journal of Medical Humanities & Social Studies of Science and Technology (ISSN 1852-4680), a periodical electronic journal in an interactive format publishing papers on Medical Humanities and Social Studies of Science and Technology, is available permanently at www.ea-journal.com (free access). The journal aims to be in the junction between academic excellence and the development of the new technologies of information and social networks. Eä gathers a prestigious editorial committee, is peer reviewed by international referees and meets the requirements of periodical publications indexes. It publishes three issues a year (April, August, and December), is presented in Spanish and English, and accepts texts in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French, reaching global impact. This publication has been created under the Web 2.0 paradigm, with a dynamic layout that promotes user-reader’s interaction between them and with the website.
We invite you all to go over the contents of this Vol. 1 Nº 3 and keep being a part in this community, as well as to submit papers for next issue.
