Teaching in/about the Historical West

The Teaching Committee of the Western History Association and the Journal of the West invite submissions for a special issue of the Journal on “Teaching in/about the Historical West.” We’re looking for articles (or lesson plans) of up to 5,000 words and welcome submissions with illustrations, graphs, detailed lesson plans (with appropriate permissions), and annotations. Please also append a resume.

The submissions will be peer-reviewed and the special issue will be published in 2011.
