The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars invite you to join the Asia Policy Assembly on June 17-18 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
Part of the National Asia Research Program (NARP), the Asia Policy Assembly is a major international conference that will bring together experts from the academic, philanthropic, and policymaking communities to address issues of strategic importance to U.S. interests in Asia.
The theme of the inaugural Asia Policy Assembly complements the National Asia Research Programís Research Agenda for 2010-2011, which examines the meaning and exercise of Asiaís global influence. During the two-day Assembly, the program format will include Plenary Sessions featuring presentations and keynote addresses, as well as numerous smaller roundtables to discuss a broad range of issues and regions.
Registration is now open! The Assembly is offering student discounts as well as an early bird registration rate through May 10.
