The second workshop of the 'Languages at War' project will take place on Friday the 28th May 2010 at the Imperial War Museum, London.
The title of this workshop is 'Meeting the other in war' and Prof. Joanna Bourke (Birkbeck College) will be keynote speaker, with a paper titled 'Does the enemy have a face? Combat narratives, speech acts and faciality, 1914-1975.
