We are pleased to announce that from March 2011 the British Scholar Journal will be published by Edinburgh University Press (EUP) and renamed Britain and the World: Historical Journal of The British Scholar Society. While the name changes, every other feature of the journal will stay the same. We remain dedicated to bringing you the finest articles being written about Britain's interactions with the wider world from 1688 to the present.
Edinburgh University Press is the perfect partner to publish our journal. You will find the new EUP webpages dedicated to Britain and the World by visiting http://www.eupjournals.com/brw. EUP is currently uploading the content of all previous issues of the British Scholar Journal to the Britain and the World webpages. Electronic access to all back issues of the journal will be included with a 2011 subscription to the journal, which is available through the EUP website or with membership in The British Scholar Society (information about becoming a member of The British Scholar Society is available by visiting www.britishscholar.org/membership.html). Additionally, every issue of the journal will be integrated into EBSCO’s content aggregation service. Finally, the content of the journal will be searchable via the EUP website (http://www.eupjournals.com/search/advanced) and the full text will be indexed by Google and searchable via Google and Google Scholar.
Also, until 1 September 2010, if you convince your institution’s library to purchase a subscription to Britain and the World from Edinburgh University Press you will receive a one-year membership in The British Scholar Society for free. These forms may be found on the Britain and the World subscription webpage at www.eupjournals.com/page/brw/subscribe.
