Young faculty from the post-Soviet and post-Communist countries who specialize in 20th century history are invited to apply for the seminar program Teaching “Age of Extremes” in the Age of Politics of History (meeting twice a year for two weeks in Kyiv, Ukraine). The first seminar series will take place on 14-28 July 2010.
Eligibility: young faculty (up to 35 years old) who recently started their careers at university; post-graduates involved into teaching, who has reached final stage of post-graduate studies.
Application should include:
• brief CV
• short essay (6 000 - 10 000 characters) relevant to the seminar’s topic followed with the list of reviewed literature
• two recommendation letters
