The University of California, Irvine is hosting the 2th annual meeting of the California Indian Conference, Oct. 14-16, 2010. As the theme of the conference is Retrospectives and Perspectives,” papers in these areas are especially welcomed:
1) Perspectives and Retrospectives on the CIC, California Indian studies, and the California Indian experience.
2) Mapping Native California’s Cultural Geographies using digital technologies.
3) Representations of California Indians.
4) Contemporary Native California.
Please submit a one-page abstract and short vita to tcthorne@uci.edu by June 30, 2010.
