CALL FOR PAPERS
International Conference “The European Union Enlargement and Accession Perspectives for the Republic of Moldova”
18-19 November 2010, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova
INVITATION: The Institute of European Integration and Political Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova invites paper and panel submissions from individuals working in Political Sciences and associated disciplines such as History, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Economics to participate at the scientific conference with international participation entitled “The European Union Enlargement and Accession Perspectives for the Republic of Moldova”. Please, find the topics below.
PROPOSALS: Proposals should include the main argument and keywords, and may not exceed one page (size 12 ppt, 1.5 range, Times New Roman in Word format). Proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS: 15 JUNE 2010.
All proposals should be sent by email at: secretariat.iiesp.asm@gmail.com .
PAPERS: Papers will need to be submitted no later than NOVEMBER 15, 2010. Accepted papers may not exceed 12 pages long (size 12 ppt, 1.5 range, Times New Roman in Word format), shall include abstracts, and may follow one of the referencing systems: Harvard Referencing System, Cambridge Referencing System or Chicago Referencing System.
PARTICIPATION FEE: There is NO participation fee for the conference.
ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation for foreign participants will be provided by the host institution. Conference participants are kindly asked to support their travel costs.
PUBLICATION: All selected papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Sciences edited by the Institute of European Integration and Political Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

•Geopolitics of the European Union: past and future
•The results and experience of the EU enlargement process
•The EU new enlargement policy: the Eastern Partnership Project in the European Neighborhood Policy framework
•The results of the implementation of the Republic of Moldova – European Union Plan of Action and perspectives for the association agreement
•The compatibility of the Republic of Moldova membership in CSI and entrance in NATO with the European integration aspirations
•Implementation of European integration policy: advantages and risks for the Republic of Moldova
