Symposia is an online, peer reviewed journal for students and scholars in the study of religion and related fields. This second volume gathers articles which deal with the theme of 'religion and the necessities of life', broadly construed. The book review section appraises recent texts relevant to scholars of religion. Reviews in this volume took a particular interest in the recent works of German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk, though reviews are not limited to this theme.
