The Centre of South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge would like to host a conference that explores the relationship between enmity and amity in contemporary South Asia. Academic engagement has long treated these two fields as disparate and differentiated, offering critical inquiries into either the event of violence or the everyday politics of peace. Abstracts of academic papers and creative responses will be accepted until April 19, 2010 for the conference to be held on June 23-24, 2010.
