The Twentieth Century Studies area of the Midwest Popular Culture Association seeks panel and paper proposals for the annual Midwest Popular Culture Association/ American Culture Association conference. This year’s conference will be held at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, in Minneapolis, MN from Friday October 1st to Sunday October 3rd.
The area seeks papers whose topics address any aspect of 20th century literature or popular culture. Proposals for papers addressing 21st century issues will be considered as well. Topics might address, but are not limited in any way to:
- Literature
- Film and Theatre
- Religion and Pop Culture
- Music
- Visual Art
- Modernism
- Post-modernism
Please send a 250 word abstract and title for the presentation to smith.riel@gmail by Sunday, April 25th. Please include your name and affiliation, email address, postal address, phone number, and A/V requirements (if any).
