Dear NAME Family:

As NAME Founder and Chair of the 2010 Proposal Review Committee, I am reaching out to you, on behalf of the committee. We are a 100% volunteer driven organization and we need your assistance in reviewing proposals for NAME's upcoming 20th Anniversary Conference, November 4-6, 2010.

The theme for this year's conference is Empowering Children and Youth: Equity, Multiculturally Responsive Teaching, and Achievement Gaps.

Although it is not a requirement to be a NAME member to review, we strongly encourage you to join! If you have never reviewed for us before, we would like you to consider doing so this year. If you reviewed NAME proposals last year or in previous years, we would love to have you to join us again. Please contact me, Dr. Rose Duhon Sells, with the information requested, below. If you are considering joining us as a reviewer, be sure to read our 2010 call for proposals. Please find the call for proposals attached.

Please include the following information:

1. Contact information, including your name, mailing address, phone numbers, fax number, email address

2. Professional affiliation

3. Areas of expertise

4. Proposal review topic interests (See the attached Call for Proposals for more information about the topics and conference theme.)

Deadline for submission of this information is April 5, 2010. You will hear from the 2010 Proposal Review Committee by April 20.

The tentative timeline for review is as follows:

1. The Call for Proposals Submissions Deadline is April 17, 2010

2. Reviewer instructions and proposals will be sent out mid to late May.

3. Reviewers deadline to return proposals and reviews will be set for mid to late June, dependent on the number of reviewers and proposals received.
