Join us for a 6-day seminar exploring Crete's cultural and natural heritage. Resident ecologists, historians, musicians, chefs, farmers and artisan food producers will guide us on a journey of discovery We'll visit villages inhabited since the Minoan era, renowned for olive oil and wine production. Crete is home to over 2,000 plants, 10% of which are endemic to the island. During botanical hikes we'll discover more. Organic wine and cuisine featuring the bounties of the season are on the menu.
CCS Seminars and Study Tours are private and tailored for our small groups. We collaborate with over 40 small businesses, natural scientists and individuals working to protect Crete’s cultural and natural heritage. We develop distinctive educational programs that help provide tangible benefits to local communities. Seminar attendees have a rare opportunity to discover Crete’s heritage in the company of resident-specialists, while supporting
community-run sustainable travel programs.
