Submission of a 200 ¨C 500 word abstract is invited for papers, panels, posters, short films and other visual media focused on answering the question:
In what ways and to what ends do technology, politics,
art, and culture modify our environment?
The Humanities Program and the Office of Graduate Studies at Salve Regina University have broadly conceived the conference to include perspectives from the arts, sciences, and humanities. We are looking for work representing state-of-the art research, theory, and praxis on a broad range of topics including but not limited to:
¡¤ social, cultural, and political environments
¡¤ the cross-sections between technology and the
humanities
¡¤ environmental theology
¡¤ ecology
¡¤ sustainability
¡¤ development
Abstracts for a 20-minute presentation should be submitted via e©\mail as a Word or PDF file to Wyatt Matthews at wyatt.matthews@salve.edu.
