This workshop, while it focuses on the literary work of James (his fiction and cultural criticism) will also focus on other aspects of his work. To this end we explore the following sub-topics:
Literary James
James the Internationalist
James and Caribbean Culture
James and Caribbean Theory
It will be held on the 21st April at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
Keynote speaker will be noted James and Africana Scholar,Professor Paget Henry of Brown University.
