San José State University’s Silicon Valley Center for Global Innovation and Immigration (SVCGII) will be hosting a nationwide conference on immigration October 22 (Friday) and October 23 (Saturday), 2010, entitled “Immigration and Social Policy: The Changing Face of America.”
Topics include, but are not limited to, economic issues (e.g., labor, technology, etc.), social, cultural and religious issues (e.g., education, health, language, community relations, arts and performance, etc.), and public and immigration policy issues.
The conference will bring together academic and community stakeholders to discuss multiple facets of immigration, make policy recommendations, and foster on-going collaboration.
The deadline for a title and 200 words or less abstract/summary and your biographical information is Friday, April 30, 2010.
