Since all scholars produce intellectual work, this topic is of interdisciplinary interest and will address issues from all disciplines, such as patenting, publishing, programming, open access, open source, co-authorship, public-private partnerships, works of art, the relation of sponsorship to ownership, the autonomy of scholarship, the products of intellectual labour, and whether knowledge should be considered a public good or a commercial commodity.
