The theme of the Symposium, The Personal is Political will be presented in three panels and a dance performance from 9a.m. to 6 p.m.

9: 30 Keynote: Prof. Joyce Antler
Panels:
10 am-12 noon International Conflict Resolution: Women Transforming Governance in Ireland, Liberia and Iran;
Break for lunch, lunch provided.
1 – 2:30 pm Violence Against Women: Local Activism and Global Connections;
3-4:30 Our Bodies Ourselves: Four Decades of Activism.
5 -6 pm Concluding event: Dance Performance: “There’s A Dance in the Old Dame Yet” Prometheus Dance Elders Ensemble
Program is free and open to the public.
