Dear Colleagues,
Following the terrible news of the loss of our dear friend and colleague Richard Stites, I would like to invite all who knew and loved him to contribute to a memorial collection of personal essays reflecting how he touched our lives. If you care to contribute, please send a short statement detailing the circumstances in which you first met Richard and your favorite memory of him.
I was Richard's last Ph.D. student at Georgetown. I cannot imagine a better way to remember him and celebrate his legacy in our field and beyond.
