The UCLA Center for Jewish Studies is pleased to announce the publication of the second issue of Perush, its online journal of Jewish studies, http://perush.cjs.ucla.edu. This issue features a forum by three leading scholars (Hasia Diner, Michael Meyer and Ruth Wisse) on anti-Semitism. It also contains a symposium on Jewish urban history in Los Angeles and Buenos Aires (featuring Marcelo Dimentstein, Alejandro Dujovne, Erik Greenberg, Caroline Luce, Ariel Svarch and Mir Yarfitz). One of the distinctive features of Perush is the ability to provide online response, feedback, and commentary so as to bring the issues discussed to life.
