The Tufts Historical Review is delighted to announce a call for papers for the Spring 2010 theme: Origins. Intended to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin (1809-1882) and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his seminal work, The Origin of the Species, the Tufts Historical Review seeks outstanding articles that explore the origins of historical movements, events, and peoples that have shaped civilization. A flagship publication of the College of Arts & Sciences at Tufts University, the Tufts Historical Review is one of the few principally-undergraduate academic journals of history in the United States. The Tufts Historical Review is distributed to an increasingly large number of academic institutions, including: Harvard University, Tufts University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Library of Congress, Cornell University, Georgetown University, and the College of William & Mary. Submissions are received from nearly 30 universities throughout the United States and United Kingdom.
