NEO is an online journal edited and produced in the Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. As a fully refereed journal, NEO provides a forum for the dissemination and promotion of work by Higher Degree Research, postgraduate and Honours students. NEO publishes original scholarly papers in the range of disciplines covered by the terms ‘Social Sciences’ and ‘Humanities’, including, but not limited to: Cultural Studies, Media Studies, Visual Studies, Indigenous Studies, Popular Music, Cultural History, Politics, Anthropology, Sociology, Philosophy, Writing, Literary and Textual Analysis.
This edition represents the journal’s first open call for papers. It is anticipated that articles will be directly connected to, or result from the candidate’s research, study or thesis work. Papers between 4000 and 6000 words and a short abstract should be submitted to: Anthony.Lambert@mq.edu.au by April 2, 2010.
