Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe, Germany, is organizing an international conference on “Narrative and Innovation” which will take place from 15th -17th September, 2010.
From an entrepreneurial perspective, the early recognition of change in societies, markets and organizations is crucial. Not only from a competitive point of view are the signals more valuable, the earlier they are recognized. Early recognition based on narratives opens windows for innovation and helps to foster new business opportunities.
The conference is discussing qualitative approaches based on text and discourse analysis as well as genre studies. We invite researchers and practitioners from all disciplines to send us a proposal for participation and to engage in an interdisciplinary dialogue on the potential of narratives with regard to trend- and market research, business administration and -development, strategic management and entrepreneurship.
The deadline for paper submission is the 31st of May 2010.
Please check our website at www.narrative-innovation.org for thorough information on the program, the registration process as well as the call for papers.
