I am forming a panel for the 2011 AHA convention, Boston. I am looking for papers that examine 19th century commemoration and memory histories at local, regional, and/or national levels. Papers on 19th c. commemoration and memory of the American Revolution, Civil War, and Native Americans are particularly pertinent.
