Sparked partially by our love for Canadian history, beginning on July 1, 2010, CJSW is launching a “Today in Canadian History” series. Every day we will air a five-minute interview with a Canadian historian on a unique event or happening that took place on that day. The programmes will also be available online via a podcast and a website. We have already begun discussions with Historians from all across the country, and are looking to perform more interviews as soon as possible.
In terms of content, we are open to any-and-all ideas. We want to speak with professors, graduate students, and historians who are passionate about history, and who are interested in sharing their passion and knowledge with Canadians. This means that the series will cover subjects that range from introductory to more advanced levels of Canadian historical knowledge.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, ideas, or if you are open to be interviewed. The interviews will be short, 15-minute conversations done over the phone.
Thank you very much for your time, we hope to speak with you soon.
