Medieval and Renaissance Drama Society Sponsored Session
“From N-Town to You Tube: Medieval Drama on Film, Video, and the Web”
Medieval Drama enters the digital age, with a look back at other media. Topics to consider:
--Representations of medieval stagecraft
--Film and video recordings of modern performances of medieval plays
--Audio/Video Teaching materials for Medieval Drama
--Medieval Drama on the Web
--The impact of digital media on medieval drama scholarship, criticism, and performance.
Send 100-200 word abstracts for 15-20 minute presentations.
Deadline: March 12, 2010.
All participants in the session must by MLA members by April 7, 2010 (in other words, if you aren’t currently a member you’ll have to join to participate in the session).
