It is with great enthusiasm that Nebraska Wesleyan University invites applications for a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Landmarks of American History workshop for school teachers, with separate sessions to be held held at Fort Robinson, Nebraska June 14-20, 2010 and July 7-13, 2010. The workshop is entitled "Shifting Power on the Plains: Fort Robinson and the American West" and will offer participants the opportunity to explore the complex and fascinating story of the United States' expansion into the northern Great Plains and its continuing legacies.
