The 15th meeting of International Society for the History of the Neurosciences will be held in Paris, France on June 15-19 2010. The meeting will take place at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. The official language of the meeting is English.
The ISHN encourages contributions about all of the history of all of the neurosciences, including basic and clinical specialties, ancient and non-Western topics, technical advances, and broad social and cultural aspects.
The social programme will include a visit to the old Ecole de médecine, the old Anatomical amphitheatre, Musée Dupuytren (the home of Broca’s famous Leborgne brain) in the Cloître des Cordeliers, and to the Salpêtrière with a visit to the Charcot library and an organ recital in the chapel by Bernard Lechevalier.
