Call for Abstracts
The Department of Music, Dance and Drama, Makerere University will be hosting the 2010 Annual International Conference of the African Theatre Association (AfTA) in Kampala, Uganda.

All researchers and practitioners interested in African theatre and performance are invited to submit their abstracts (about 250 words) to the conference convener using the email address below. The main conference theme is 'Performing Africa/ Africa in performance: Theatre, Culture and Society in Africa'.

Performance Industry
Theatre and the Media
Cooperate Theatre Industry
Theatre History, Development and Theory
Gender and Performance

In addition to those listed above the convener will consider other relevant sub-themes from contributors.
