Arab American Art and Culture:
Challenges, Reappraisals, and Possibilities

RAWI, the Radius of Arab American Writers, announces its third national conference, "Arab American Art and Culture: Challenges, Reappraisals, and Possibilities. This conference will bring together Arab American, Arab, and Anglophone-Arab writers of all genres in performance, critique, and conversation.

RAWI welcomes individual paper or full panel proposals. Individual paper proposals should include a presentation title, short biography, and 300-word abstract. Full panel proposals should include presenter bios, both panel and presentation titles, and a description of each presentation, including titles.

Proposals will be accepted on a competitive basis. Please send proposals to conference2010@rawi.org. Deadline for submitting paper, performance, or panel abstracts is February 1, 2010.
