The UNC-Charlotte GHA invites all graduate and undergraduate students to submit papers based on original research for presentation at the Forum. All topics are welcome, including public history and historiographical essays. Prizes will be awarded for the best papers.
The 22nd Annual Graduate History Forum will take place on March 26 and 27, 2010. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Mary Louise Roberts. She will deliver her presentation, "Rape Hysteria and the Sexual Economy of Race: French Accusations of Sexual Assault against African-American GIs, 1944-1945." Dr. Karen Cox will also present her research during the Friday night dinner.
The deadline for submission of completed papers and curriculum vitae is January 31, 2010.
