I propose to call a seminar on
ISSUES IN ENVIRONMENTAL HISTORY: Pre-Modern & Modern World from Indian & Canadian Perspective in the month of March, 2010. Dates could be 5th & 6th March 2010 in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara-India. This event will be organized by Centre for Canadian Studies in collaboration with the Department of History.
Papers are expected (abstracts or full texts) till 15th Feb., 2010. This seminar is interdisciplinary. Anthropologists, Historians, Economists, Sociologists, Legal Luminaries, Scientists & contribution from Literature & Language departments are welcome. Scholors contributing may delve into French & British colonial perspectives.
The detail programme of the seminar will be placed by 20th Feb., 2010. alongwith confirmed participation and abstracts. I request schholars from abroad to participate if they are located or moving in Western India. 3rd Ac & 2nd Ac fare can be managed depending upon the grants.
