Distortion and Illusion

Presenters are invited to address the topic of distortion and illusion from a variety of perspectives and disciplines. We want to engage in dialogue with graduate students representing the full spectrum of academia: from every literary genre to the visual arts to other humanities and the social sciences.
Presentations may be given in English, Portuguese, or Spanish and should not exceed twenty minutes. As the topic of distortion and illusion lends itself to the use of audio and visual aids, we encourage innovative and interactive presentation styles. Abstracts (up to 250 words) may be sent by email to kmperry@wisc.edu (include identifying information in the body of the email only and attach anonymous abstract) or mail (include one document with identifying information and a separate anonymous abstract) to:
